Production Crew
Producing 24h Berlin spanned over three years. Hundreds of protagonists had to be researched, ideas were thought up and then discarded, innumerable emails were sent; all against the backdrop of ever-ringing telephones. Editing the tv programme took one year. Eight cutters, in four editing rooms, worked seven days a week in two shifts. Editing, finishing, sound mixing and translation went on day and night. All production departments had to create new strategies to master the size and the demand of the project, making 24h Berlin a very special challenge.
