Volker Wieprecht and Robert Skuppin

Radio hosts Volker Wieprecht and Robert Skuppin met 18 years ago at Sender Freies Berlin (Radio Free Berlin). In 1993, they moved to "Radio Fritz" together, where they were part of the morning show "Radiofritzen." Since 1997, they have been working at “Radio1,“ hosting "radioeins - der Tag" (The day) and "Die schöne Woche" (The fine week). While Wieprecht is notorious for his merciless punchlines, Skuppin is the nicer but similarly unerring counterpart. In 1998, Wieprecht and Skuppin founded the multimedia agency "Der Apparat" where they develop concepts and produce media formats. Together they wrote an encyclopedia called "Berliner populäre Irrtümer".
