Flickr is the largest digital photographic community worldwide. Users can create photo albums online and make them accessible for other users. They can organize pictures in sets and collections, add them to groups, tag them, look at other people’s photo streams, and leave notes and comments. Pictures can be uploaded from desktop computers as well as via email or camera phones and can later be linked to other websites. The 24h Berlin Flickr profile helps us to stay in touch with international design and photography communities.

Twitter is a social network and a microblogging service. Users can send short messages called “updates” or “tweets” with up to 140 characters. These messages are then sent to all the users who have signed up for a particular topic, author, or group. Messages are also recorded in a blog-type overview. The sender decides whether he wants to give access to his “tweets” to all users or whether he wants to limit access to his group of friends. With our twitter profile we invite everyone who is interested to stay tuned.
